MY REVIEW
I've used up the whole (15oz.) 443ml bottle in the space of a month and a half. I cowash once a week for three weeks and clarify with shampoo once a month.
I felt it was too watery ( I'm used to thicker conditioners), so, I used it on dry hair when cowashing. I then apply a little water and wash normally.
Surprisingly, what it lacked in thickness, it made up in providing good slip for detangling.
It also rinses off clean with no build up and doesn't weigh down my fine strands.
It doubled as a leave in conditioner on occasions where my hair felt dry post-washing especially my ends.
VERDICT
It's really good for cowashing but because it is watery, you could use it all up in one wash if you're not careful!
As for the color maintenance, I still have my reddish tint from the henna treatment, so I think it's safe enough for dyed hair.
It is also silicone and sulphate free for those particular about such ingredients.Personally, I'm not but I'm a bit worried about the many hard to pronounce chemicals in the product but I haven't had any adverse reactions to them.
I will definitely repurchase if I see it on the aisle.
Day two twistout after cowashing. My hair still felt soft. |
