PROTECTIVE STYLING: SENEGALESE TWISTS WITH CURLS
By Hadassah Agbaps - December 23, 2014
Hi people, what's been on? If you're wondering what style to do, Lissa over at www.thenappydiaries.wordpress.com kindly allowed me to share her protective style.
SENEGALESE TWISTS WITH CURLS
What I used?
Two packs of SuperStar Kanekelon hair extensions; one in black and the other purple. They go for about 450-500 naira in salons and stores but could be cheaper in the market. Shea butter to seal my hair in place of the “oil” most stylists prefer. Extra yarn, extensions or any suitable thread for the curl bunching.
The stylist came over to the house quite early by 8am so while she prepped the extensions I washed my mouth and hurriedly had breakfast.
*talking with a stuffed mouth* I’m having Senegalese twists done and intend to keep it for four weeks.

Hi people, what's been on?
I've been sick and had a major reaction to the drugs I was given but I'm stronger now....drugs and I just don't mix.
My appreciation goes to those of you that inquired and sent thoughtful messages. *hugs*
I haven't forgotten the giveaway so here's the list of people that indicated interest in trying out the Aphogee Curlific Curl Definer.
I numbered all entries in the order they appeared in my comments box and then used a random application to find the winner.
1. Nike
2. Olufolade
3. AB
4. Osayi
5. Glowreeya
6. Iamsamsie
7. Oluwabusola
8. Kells

CONGRATULATIONS OLUWABUSOLA!!!!
I'll be sending you an email via the email given....PS. Don't forget to send in your own review so I can put it up with mine!
Thank you all for participating and don't worry if you didn't win. As a New Years gift to you, I'll do another giveaway and automatically qualify the remaining 8 participants to give one of you an opportunity to join me in my next review, okay?!
Don't worry guys, I think I enjoy the concept of reviewing a product with a reader and I get to try out a lot of products so watch out for the next opportunity!
Oh....before I forget, remember my review of Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls and Cantu Shea Define and Shine Custard and how I said I loved the slip (and lower price) of the Cantu but the flaking was going to be a problem?
Well I liked it so much that I had to find a solution.....just like I did for Cantu Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream
To reduce the risk of flaking after this product has given you the definition you want, simply layer on a small amount of Jack5curl activator gel!
I think it helps provide enough moisture so the curls don't dry too soon and flake.
Hope this helped someone......
Till I spill again,
xoxo
