I've always been the child that asks a lot of questions...and finding answers is what fuels my journey as a researcher.

I derived pleasure in finding out about the germs that grow in our spray bottles and today I'm focusing on skincare....black soap in particular.

When BelleStar brand sent me the first bottle of the African Black Soap, my first questions were

 'What's makes this Black Soap special and why?'

'What ingredients selected cater to a particular skin problem?' 

'Did you put into consideration how effective the ingredients you used can be affected by the soap medium?'

Until my questions were answered, I was unwilling to experiment with my acne prone skin!

It has taken me years to get my skin clear and I was unwilling for the sake of reviews and content creation to use any products that could trigger outbreaks.

If it ain't broke......

Anyway, they were knowledgeable in their answers and I willing gave the product a go.

If it didn't work well for me, it wouldn't because of ignorance....and I'm fine with that.

I veered away from this rule when I tried a product that damaged my hair. The science surrounding the offending product was wrong but because I was trying to support a local brand, I decided to give it a shot. 

Penicillin was discovered by accident.  Who knows if this product might actually be amazing! If it was, I was willing to sleep in the laboratory to find out what the winning formula was  and let the young business know. 

Anyhoo, I digress!

We are here for the review of  BelleStar African Black Soap.
